Solubility

The development of the patented LipoSan Ultra� represents a unique means to substantially increase the density and rate of solubility of regular chitosan and deliver the following benefits:

The following chart compares the solubility of three regular chitosans of differing viscosity, a new high density imported chitosan and a competitor's chitosan to LipoSan Ultra� in 0.16 N Hydrochloric Acid (equivalent to stomach acid).

DRAMATIC DIFFERENCES

>	After one minute, *LipoSan Ultra�* is almost completely solubilized.
>	Others range in solubility from 17% to 48%.
>	After 30 minutes, others range only slightly higher from - 38% to 58%

Note: Chitosan solubility is directly dependent on acid strength and not on the degree of deacetylation.
