What Is LipoSan Ultra™?
The basic raw material used to make LipoSan Ultra™ is chitin.
Chitin is a natural biopolymer that is harvested from the shells
of shrimp, crab and lobster. LipoSan Ultra is exclusively made
using North Atlantic shrimp shell which accounts for its high
quality and low lead content. LipoSan Ultra™ is a patented (US
Patent # 6,130,321) product that also contains succinic acid,
which is a GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) approved food
additive.
2) What Makes LipoSan Ultra™ Different From Other Weight
Management Products?
LipoSan Ultra™ is an Ephedra-free supplement that takes less than
five minutes to dissolve in your stomach. This means you can take
it right at mealtime, not one hour before like other weight
management products.
3) How Does LipoSan Ultra™ Work?
LipoSan Ultra complexes and traps fats and oils you consume.
LipoSan Ultra™ is a natural dietary fiber that is composed of
chitosan. Chitosan has been shown to interfere with and prevent
the digestion of dietary fat.
4) How Much LipoSan Ultra™ Should I Take?

human study was achieved by using a 1.5 gram dose of LipoSan

5) How Often Do I Need To Take LipoSan Ultra™?
LipoSan Ultra™ is meal-specific, although generally taken with
lunch and dinner. NOTE: Fat-soluble vitamins should be taken at
least four hours before or after taking LipoSan Ultra™. Though we
have no research to prove that LipoSan Ultra™ will interfere with
the uptake of these vitamins, the logical assumption is that it
would.
6) How Much Weight Can I Expect To lose By Taking LipoSan
Ultra™?
Although results will differ with different individuals, our 8-week human study demonstrated a statistically
significant 5-pound weight loss differential between test subjects
taking LipoSan Ultra™ and those taking a placebo.
7) Will I Lose More Weight If I Take More LipoSan Ultra™?
Due to stomach volume, the most effective dosage is 1 to 2 grams
of LipoSan Ultra™ per fatty meal, accompanied by 8 oz. of water.
More than 2 grams will most likely result in some non-dissolved
product, which will not absorb any additional fat.
8) How does the Fat Binding with LipoSan Ultra™ differ from
Chitosan?
Regular chitosan products take well over an hour to dissolve in
your stomach, making it inconvenient for the user. By the time
regular chitosan is dissolved, much of the dietary fat will have
already been processed and absorbed into the body's system.
Based on our laboratory data, LipoSan Ultra™ is rapidly soluble and
has the potential to act quickly to bind with the fats and
oils that you consume. This means you can take LipoSan Ultra™
right at mealtime..
9) Since LipoSan Ultra™ Is Made From Shellfish, Should I Take It
If Have A Shellfish Allergy?
Although the protein is removed during processing, it is possible
that you may have a reaction and, thus should take this product
only under a physician's direction and supervision.

LipoSan Ultra™ is currently made in Iceland and utilizes high
